Trident Seafoods wins award
Trident Seafoods of Ballard was recently honored by Florida-based Darden Restaurants Inc. with its William B. Darden Distinguished Supplier Award. Darden Restaurants, the world's largest casual dining company, owns and operates some 1,300 Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze and Smokey Bones restaurants across the country. Trident Seafoods was honored as one of eight top Darden Restaurants suppliers. The two companies have done business with each other for more than two decades. Located at 5303 Shilshole Ave. NW, Trident currently provides Alaskan snow crab, large Bristol Bay king crab, pollack, flounder, and mahi-mahi for Darden's restaurant chains. The two companies have also partnered for 10 years to jointly develop and implement quality assurance and purchasing practices. | ||
