Wallingford mixed-use plannedThe City's Department of Planning and Development (formerly known as DCLU) will hold an early design guidance meeting on Monday, Feb. 2, 6:30 p.m. at University Heights Community Center (5031 University Way NE, Room 108) to consider a developer's plans to build a four-story building at 2205 N. 45th St. (southeast corner of N. 45th and Bagley). The building would contain apartments on the upper floors and retail sales and service uses on the ground floor, with accessory parking under the structure. Mini-warehouses plannedA developer has submitted an application to the City for a master-use permit to build a six-story building at 8908 Lake City Way NE that would include 37,686 square feet of mini-warehouse space and a 4,737-square-foot warehouse. Parking for 10 cars would also be provided. Existing structures on the property would be demolished. The same developer has also submitted an application for a separate master-use permit to build a neighboring six-story building at 8910 Lake City Way NE that would include 39,856 square feet of mini-warehouse space and a 4,690-square-foot warehouse. Lake City Presbyterian to expandLake City Presbyterian Church has submitted an application for a master-use permit to build a 7,228-square-foot two-story addition to its existing building at 3841 NE 123rd St. The project would include the reconfiguration of the existing church parking lot to have a total of 77 spaces. Crown Hill monorail stationAn application has been filed for a master-use permit to build a 13,846-square-foot monorail transit station at 8355 15th Ave. NW (southwest corner of NW 85th and 15th Avenue NW). Northgate library, centerA revised notice of application has been issued by the Department of Planning and Development regarding Council Concept Approval of the proposed 10,000-square-foot Northgate Library, 20,000-square-foot community center, and 73,000-square-foot public park at 10548 5th Ave. NE.
