Book sale at Sand Point

Area bibliophiles take note: This year's Friends of the Seattle Public Library book sale at Sand Point/Magnuson Park will be held on Saturday, April 12, and Sunday, April 13. The sale will offer over 100,000 books, CDs, records, videos, sheet music, art prints and posters for as little as 25 cents each. The hours of the sale will be 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on both days. The event will be held in Building 30 at Sand Point, 7400 NE Sand Point Way.

Paperback books will sell for 50 cents, and hardbacks are $1. Some select books will cost more; a bargain bin will have $25 books. And on Sunday everything is half price.

A preview party will be held for Friends of the Library members on the evening of Friday, April 11. Memberships will be available at the door for $15.

All proceeds from the sale benefit the Library. After the doors close on Sunday, Friends of Seattle Public Library will donate unsold items to registered charities. To register your charity or to donate books for the sale, contact Joan Amatucci at 523-4053.
