Resurfacing project meeting

A community meeting on the Seattle Department of Transportation's proposed resurfacing project for Northeast 65th Street, Northeast 75th Street, and 35th Avenue Northeast will be held on Thursday, Jan. 16, 7 p.m. at Eckstein Middle School, 3003 NE 75th St. The $8 million project will provide a mix of concrete panel replacement and asphalt resurfacing for the three major Northeast Seattle arterials. Also included will be signal improvements and landscaping. The design phase of the project will be completed by May, with construction contracts awarded by mid-summer.
