Setting record straight about Lake City Salmon Bake
The August issue of the Seattle Sun "Out and About" commentary stated that the Lake City Salmon Bake was put on by the Lake City Lions.
The Salmon Bake is put on by the members of the Lake City Community Center Board of Directors with proceeds going to maintaining the facility. While there are Lion members on the board, the majority of members represent other interests in the community.
The Lake City Lions hold functions at the center and are supportive and helpful in many ways and we greatly appreciate their contribution.
