Churches, synagogues offer holiday events

Don't just sit there North Seattleites! Somewhere in your neighborhood people are lighting the menorah, singing Christmas carols or partaking of a tasty holiday buffet. Is your place of worship going low-key this year? Not to worry - here is just small sampling of churches, synagogues and community centers that are ready to entertain you:

Fremont Baptist Church:

Address: 717 N 36th St. Choir concert, with guest artists including the Norwegian Male Chorus of Seattle and The Governor's Sackbutt Commission, a trombone quartet, Friday, Nov. 30, 7:30 p.m. Admission is free but donations for Fremont Food Bank are encouraged.
