Thanks for the good article ("Wedgwood hit by juvenile crime wave," published in the October issue of the Jet City Maven).

 Believe me, this is NOT over. It may be quiet for the moment, but mostly because some of the kids are in detention. There are many more cases pending, a warrant for one kid's arrest, lots of probation situations to monitor, etc.

 Also, the victim of the assault is a 48-year old, 6'2", 240-pound hunk, not an elderly man. He is in good shape, but couldn't hold his own against seven kids. His case is under investigation.

 The positive side of all this is that it's getting neighbors to know neighbors. It's always been a friendly neighborhood, but this is taking it much further. This gives us all something to work on where we can have some influence over trouble-makers, unlike most of the rest of our world at the moment.

 The best part of this truly is that it's bringing people together.
