St. Andrew's hosts Celtic Fling, Oct. 20-21

"Ciad mile failte": A 100,000 welcomes. Enjoy and experience a "Wee bit of Scotland" on the weekend of Oct. 20-21 as St. Andrew's Episcopal Church celebrates and invites the community to join them in their 10th annual Celtic Fling.

Saturday's event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and includes the Seattle Highland Dancers Fall Competition beginning at 9 a.m. and continuing throughout the day in the sanctuary of the church. Throughout the fellowship areas of the church you will find a delightful tea room, food booths, a sports pub, a marketplace of Celtic crafts, gift booths featuring beautiful gift items made by parishioners, strolling bagpipers and other entertainers.

On Sunday, the traditional church service will include the Kirkin o' the Tartain. The Keith Highlanders Band will take part in the church service. Following the service there will be a festive reception where the band will perform.
