Ron Shmerelson bought The Little Red Hen, a restaurant-bar in the Green Lake neighborhood that serves as one of the City's leading venues to hear live country music, on April 28 from Lee Hirschhorn. Shmerelson, who moved to Seattle shortly before buying the Little Red Hen, said he is "from back East," where he owned nightclubs in Philadelphia and New Jersey. He said he moved here because he has two grown daughters who live in the Seattle area. He now lives in the Green Lake neighborhood. The Little Red Hen is located at 7115 Woodlawn Ave. NE.
