The City Council recently approved funding of six time-senstive projects that are high priorities in neighborhood plans. The projects are funded from the City's $1.4 million Opportunity Fund. Two of the projects are in North Seattle: The Wallingford Steps project, which will use the funding to pay for development of full design and engineering plans; and the Phinney Neighborhood Association, which will use its funds to help pay for exterior painting of the two buildings it leases from the School District.
