Fremont Outdoor Cinema is back for new season

Good, clean, weird, family entertainment, and it's almost free! Get ready for another season of the Fremont Outdoor Cinema. Saturday nights at the U-PARK lot behind the Red Door Ale House will again be the place for fun.

Gates open at 7 p.m. and the movies will start at dusk. Preceding the movies will be entertainment and live music. Prizes will be awarded for best costume, worst haircut, film trivia, and most creative urban campsite.

The Fremont Outdoor Cinema is an event for all ages. The Outdoor Cinema brings together diverse audiences for a safe and fun outdoor event on warm summer nights. Attendees should bring their own blankets and/or seating and a $5 donation is suggested.

The lineup for this month includes:

June 3- Little Mermaid and Incredible Mr. Limpit with The Manatees

June 10- The Road Warrior with the Diablotones

June 24- The Wedding Singer with Maxx Average

July 1- Rock and Roll High School and Carrie with Head
