Parents and children get ready for the annual Calvary Temple Easter Egg Hunt. This years event will be happening the Saturday before Easter, April 22, at Cowen Park in the Ravenna neighborhood. The fun and excitement begin at 1 p.m.

This is a free community event sponsored by the Calvary Temple children's department and is open to anyone. Several thousand plastic eggs filled with candy will be placed in the park for children to find. There will also be a drawing held for prizes. A bicycle is one of the prizes to be won. Also included in the festivities will be a giant inflatable slide and inflatable bouncer on which the kids can play. Music and singing will also take place before the egg hunt begins.
