Move over Bonnie Raitt, here come's Seattle's own Del Ray.

Locally based recording artist Del Rey will perform on Friday, March 10 at the new Paradox Theatre in the U-District at 5510 University Way NE. Tickets are only $12 and can either be bought in advance or at the door.

Her new CD, X-ray features playful acoustic guitar songs reminiscent of modern bluegrass and theater polka. The CD was recorded in Port Townsend by Synergy Sound and mixed at Overdub Lane in Durham, North Carolina. Goofy outfits, fancy footwork, and creative musicianship make for an entertaining performance. Del Ray performs all over the world at music festivals and concerts, but has come home to share her music with her friends.
