Break out your best recipes for the Great Wallingford Potluck to be held on Saturday, February 12. The event, coinciding with Neighbor Appreciation Day in the Seattle area, will take place in the Lincoln High School cafeteria at 4400 Interlake North. The dinner will begin at 6:00, although people should arrive a bit earlier to add their contribution to the festivities. Attendees are encouraged to bring either a salad, main dish, or a dessert. At 7:00, there will be skits and recognition of several neighborhood projects. These include the Meridian Playfield, Wallingford Playfield, Team Wallingford Implementation Project, and the Block Watch Program. Citywide dignitaries will be in attendance to join in the celebration. There will also be a Jell-O sculpture contest with celebrity judges. The event is co-sponsored by the Wallingford Chamber of Commerce and the Wallingford Community Council. For more information, contact 632-3165 or 632-0645.
