Olympic View Elementary School is hosting two teachers from China this year: Duan Jinfeng, a high school English teacher from the city of Tianjin, and Yu Ping, a high school teacher from Beijing, according to the school's PTA newsletter.
The teachers, who arrived in August, will spend 10 months here to observe their U.S. counterparts and to learn about life in America. They will also teach Chinese language and culture classes to students at Olympic View.
Olympic View Elementary is located at 504 NE 95th in the Maple Leaf neighborhood.
