Northwest Hospital Foundation has received a $1 million donation - the largest in its history - to fund an unrestricted endowment for its community health programs. "The Marjorie Lewis Endowment Fund for Community Health at Northwest Hospital was established through the generosity of a Seattle business owner who wishes to remain anonymous," said Mark McCampbell, executive director of the Northwest Hospital Foundation. "The fund, named for the donor's mother, will benefit Northwest Hospital where the donor and his family have received care for more than 30 years." The donor especially thanked Northwest Hospital physicians Dr. James Shaw, Dr. Eric Merrifield and Dr. Rob Saunders for providing him with exceptional care over the years. Northwest Hospital is located at 1550 N. 115th, in the Haller Lake neighborhood.
