Congratulations to the following Nathan Hale High School students who were winners in the Seattle Public School District's "PTSA Reflections" competition. Their work was judged along with all other Seattle public school students. Photography: Nikki McDowell, 2nd Place; Erin Baldner, Honorable Mention. Visual Arts: Noah Davis, 1st Place. Literature: Molly Blair, 1st Place.
Senior Sudhi Tyagi was named a National Merit Scholarship Finalist.
Nathan Hale Students Jonathan Helfrich, Sherry Jones and Sainaz Mokhtari recently won the City of Seattle's "Valuing and Managing Diversity Award of Excellence" for serving as 1998 Middle School Peace Academy facilitators. They were recognized and awarded a plaque from Mayor Paul Schell on Feb. 10.
Nathan Hale High School is located at 10750 30th Ave. NE in the Meadowbrook neighborhood.
