KUBE Radio on-air personality Eric Powers returned to his alma mater, Our Lady of the Lake Parish School, to deliver a speech at the school's annual alumni assembly, Feb. 3.

Powers graduated from Our Lady of the Lake in 1987 before going on to attend Nathan Hale High School where he took an interest in radio broadcasting. He can now be heard on KUBE Radio at 93.3 on the AM dial during his afternoon program between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Each year, Our Lady of the Lake invites one selected alumni back to the school during "Catholic Schools Week" to make a personal presentation to the students.
