NSCC hosts exhibit from Scotland

North Seattle Community College will host an art exhibit on tour from Scotland, from Jan. 12 through Feb. 5. The exhibit, "Alloy V," is a collection of metal work and jewelry designed and produced by members of the staff of the Jewelry and Metalwork Department, Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design at the University of Dundee in Scotland.

The exhibit features a wide variety of materials ranging from precious to titanium and acrylics and shows a diversity of techniques. Objects include broaches, rings, pins, earrings and dioramas. The exhibition is an assembly of works by Sue Barr, Roger Morris, Teena Ramsay, Ann Marie Shillito, David Swift and Jonathan Robertson, photographer.

The exhibit, which is touring the United States, will be on display at NSCC's Art Gallery and is free and open to the public. For more information, call 528-4557.
